• Private Scrapbook & Journal: Field photographs, notes, and visit dates recorded in your Sacred Scrapbook are private to your authenticated user account.
• AI Heritage Guide, Scanner & Voice Interaction: Chat prompts and photos you choose to scan are sent to Google Gemini through our backend. AI-generated identifications, ticket prices, opening hours, and historical details may be inaccurate; confirm travel information with official sources. Never submit sensitive personal, financial, or account information. Google AI Studio's free-tier terms may allow submitted content to be used to improve Google products; review Google's current terms before using the service.
• RakshaSetu Location Tools: If you grant permission, your device location is used in your browser to show your position on the map and prepare Google Maps, SMS, and WhatsApp links. Loading map tiles may reveal the approximate displayed area to the map tile provider. The site does not verify nearby facilities, send your coordinates to its backend, or automatically notify emergency services or contacts. Your location is included in an external link only if you choose that link; the destination app or service then handles it.
• Browser Storage: Preferences such as dark mode, favorite monuments, and cached itineraries may be stored in your browser's localStorage for instant offline access.
• Third-Party Integrations: Google Translate loads on demand for multi-lingual access. Interactive maps rely on OpenStreetMap and Leaflet.
